Gallery - Soccer (Football)
Inspired by a conservation dinner, we were approached by two donors who wanted to each donate $500 for conservation in Rwanda. We suggested that we use the money to try out an idea we had long been discussing, the creation of school soccer uniforms to act as a conservation message tool. Building on our existing commitment and relationship we again selected the Bisate and Rushubi Primary Schools. The $1,000 enabled us to purchase 24 tee-shirts, 24 soccer shorts, 2 balls, 2 pumps and a duffel bag for each school team. Each school chose their uniform color, the conservation message and artwork. |
